Job summary

Ultipro is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for an on-site role in Oregon. The position requires hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical, and building systems within a hospital environment.

The successful candidate will maintain and repair HVAC, piping, electrical equipment, and fire safety systems, with a strong emphasis on safety, documentation, and adherence to codes and procedures. Three years of relevant experience, a valid Oregon driver’s license, and the ability to pass

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience in maintenance, electrical or mechanical field required.
• Possession of valid Oregon driver’s license.
• Knowledge of methods and techniques used in electrical, mechanical, and building maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical and building codes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, tests, adjusts and repairs all Physical Plant machinery, heating, cooling, and piping and electrical systems as directed and records maintenance in accordance with schedules.
• Operates and maintains all Physical plant machinery and equipment.
• Performs basic HVAC repairs and replaces filters.
• Constructs and repairs building structure, walls, floor, ceiling, cabinets and furniture.
• Tests and operates emergency generators.
• Inspects, tests and cleans fire equipment as directed.
• Inspects, adjusts and repairs miscellaneous hospital equipment including exam tables, gurneys, autoclaves, centrifuge.
• Maintains record of all inspections, tests, and repairs.
• Performs security checks of building, parking lot and equipment.
• Removes ice and snow from walkways, roads, and parking lot during winter months.
• Responds to safety and security calls.
• Inventories orders and changes medical gases and LOX.
• Maintains competency in all position responsibilities.
• Demonstrates competence in relation to the defined mission, vision, values, and strategic plan of the organization.
• Demonstrates awareness of age specific practices of the customer(s).
• Demonstrates awareness of cultural and spiritual practices of the customer(s).
• Demonstrates awareness of the functional status and physical needs of our customer(s).
