Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Maintenance Engineer I for our Boyne City, MI site to keep manufacturing equipment reliable and efficient. You will implement and support maintenance programs that minimize downtime and optimize production processes, reporting to the Maintenance Manager and working on-site.

You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance on CNC mills and lathes, and lead continuous improvement projects to boost productivity and safety across the

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance engineering or a related role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair techniques.
• Proficiency with maintenance management systems and tools for scheduling and tracking maintenance activities.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards relevant to manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal operation and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system issues to maintain production flow. Specifically but not limited CNC & Manual Mills and lathes, & test panels
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement projects and enhance equipment reliability.
