Job summary

La Quinta Inn & Suites Boston-Andover is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to maintain the building, perform repairs, and ensure safety standards across the property. The role requires hands-on work at the Andover, MA location and offers full-time hours with PM shifts.

Responsibilities include responding to maintenance requests, operating HVAC and boiler systems, and supporting the facility team with planned maintenance and safety compliance.

Qualifications

Must be detail oriented and able to maintain a professional environment.
Must be able to work onsite at the location.
Proficiency in English is required.
Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 75 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

Respond to maintenance requests across the property.
Maintain all mechanical items in guestrooms and public areas.
Operate and maintain HVAC systems and boilers as needed.
Adhere to safety policies to ensure a safe work environment.
Assist engineers and mechanics with repairs.
Perform routine cleaning tasks according to the FM schedule.
Ensure tools/workstations are clean and organized.
