DelMonte Hotel Group is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to maintain the building, its equipment and assets, ensuring a great guest and colleague experience.

The role requires 3–6 months related experience, a one-year technical certificate, and strong communication and customer-service skills. You will work in a collaborative team, perform preventive maintenance, and support hotel operations to keep facilities in optimal condition.

Formación

• 3 to 6 months related experience in engineering and maintenance or related area.
• One year certificate from college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work as part of a team and complete tasks individually
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced work environment
• Solid organizational, time-management and prioritization skills
• Exceptional customer service skills

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot equipment, systems and facilities and make repairs, including painting, wallpaper, tub/sink, outlets, bulb replacement, woodworking, concrete and tile work.
• Perform preventative maintenance in guest rooms and on equipment (laundry, HVAC, ice machines, spa, fire safety, sprinklers, kitchen appliances, plumbing).
• Perform swimming pool and spa maintenance per manufacturer specs and health regulations.
• Assist with outdoor seasonal work (lawn mowing, snow removal).
• Maintain cleanliness of engineering shop and other work areas.
• Log readings from meters, gauges and other instruments.
• Communicate room status changes with Front Desk and Housekeeping.
• Maintain knowledge of Fire Alarms/Life Safety Systems and respond to emergencies.
• Assist other departments with moving furniture and loading/unloading supplies.
• Provide safe transportation to guests using hotel shuttle when needed.
