Job summary

DelMonte Hotel Group is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to oversee the maintenance, repair, and proper operation of the building and its systems. You will perform diagnostics, routine servicing, and safety checks to ensure guest comfort and safety.

The role requires technical competence, strong communication, and the ability to work collaboratively, often in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Compensation includes benefits and room/food discounts, with advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 months related experience in engineering and maintenance or related area.
• One year certificate from college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work as part of a team and complete tasks individually.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
• Solid organizational, time-management and prioritization skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Trouble shoot equipment, systems and facilities and make appropriate repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance in guest rooms and on equipment.
• Perform swimming pool and spa maintenance duties according to specs and regulations.
• Assist with outdoor seasonal work including lawn mowing and snow removal.
• Log readings from meters and gauges; communicate room status changes.
• Maintain knowledge of life safety systems and assist with emergencies.
