Qualifications

• Experience as hotel maintenance engineer or similar required.
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems (electrical, heating, etc.).
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
• Detail-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certifications such as CMRP or HVAC are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance.
• Perform preventative maintenance throughout the property.
• Inspect and maintain building systems (heating, ventilation, etc.).
• Monitor inventory of materials and equipment.
• Coordinate projects (e.g., renovations).
• Ensure adherence to brand quality standards and health and safety regulations.

Salary Range: $17.00 - $20.00 Hourly

Job Shift: Day

Lodging Host Hotel Corp is looking for a competent Maintenance Engineer to maintain our Hilton Garden Inn - College Station location.

You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of upkeep and/or repair of the location. An excellent maintenance engineer must be reliable and have a great eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have technical skills and general knowledge of various crafts such as carpentry, plumbing etc. The goal is to ensure that facilities are in a good and safe condition at all times for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance
• Perform preventative maintenance throughout the property.
• Inspect and maintain building systems (heating, ventilation etc.)

• Participate in coordination of projects (e.g. renovations)
