Adams and Associates, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee preventive maintenance and repairs of our Center facilities, grounds and systems on a day shift.
The candidate will supervise maintenance staff in the manager's absence, train students, coordinate with departments, enforce safety and code compliance, and drive quality workmanship through proactive planning and strong communication.
Responsible for the preventative maintenance and repair of Center facility, grounds and systems.
Monday to Friday - Day shift 8a 5p
Supervises maintenance staff in the absence of the Facility Manager/Supervisor. May provide supervision and training to Job Corps Work-Based Learning students and leisure time student workers.
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate of Arts Degree from an accredited school preferred. Minimum 5 years experience in building maintenance required with knowledge of local building codes, carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems, boilers and other building systems. Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred. Must possess a valid in-State Drivers License and meet Company insurability requirements. (No Driving Suspensions in the past 5 yeas)Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and / or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance.
