Job summary

Hilltop Community Resources in Western Colorado seeks a Facilities Maintenance professional to perform routine and emergency upkeep of all Hilltop facilities. You will repair electrical systems, HVAC components, plumbing, drywall, and appliances while refurbishing apartments and ensuring safety.

The role requires a Colorado driver’s license, and certification in maintenance is preferred. The package includes competitive pay, benefits, and full-time Monday–Friday scheduling with on-call rotation.

Qualifications

  • Two years of college or four years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Colorado Driver’s License (required).
  • Certification related to maintenance (HVAC, Engineers License, etc.) (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Routine and emergent maintenance of all Hilltop facilities.
  • Maintenance support of all programs including electrical repair, HVAC troubleshooting, plumbing repair, painting, and drywall repair/replacement.
  • Removing and replacing floor coverings.
  • Refurbishing apartments.
  • Read and interpret facility blue prints, produce shop drawings.
  • Repairing appliances (washing machines, dryers, refrigerators, stoves).
  • Overseeing and enforcing facility safety.
  • Assisting with apartment moves and heavy lifting.
  • Assisting and overseeing the work of Maintenance Engineer I.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Available for on call rotation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Routine and emergent maintenance of all Hilltop facilities.
  2. Maintenance support of all programs including electrical repair (moving sockets/switches and trouble shooting, HVAC troubleshooting to the component level, advanced plumbing repair and maintenance (to include soldering), painting, and advanced repair or replacement of drywall.
  3. Removing and replacing floor coverings.
  4. Refurbishing apartments.
  5. Read and interpret facility blue prints, produce shop drawings.
  6. Repairing appliances (i.e., washing machines, dryers, refrigerators, and stoves).
  7. Overseeing and enforces facility safety.
  8. Assisting with apartment moves and heavy lifting.
  9. Assisting and overseeing the work of Maintenance Engineer I.
  10. Must have reliable transportation.
  11. Available for on call rotation.
