Hilltop Community Resources in Grand Junction, CO is seeking a Maintenance Engineer 2 - Property Services to maintain and repair building systems, ensure safety, and support housing programs. This full-time role offers growth, teamwork, and a chance to impact the community.

The role requires two years of college or four years of related work experience, with HVAC or other maintenance certifications preferred. A reliable transport and on-call rotation are required.

Responsibilities

• Routine and emergent maintenance of all Hilltop facilities.
• Maintenance support of programs including electrical repair, HVAC troubleshooting, plumbing, painting and drywall work.
• Removing and replacing floor coverings and refurbishing apartments.
• Read and interpret facility blue prints and produce shop drawings.
• Repairing appliances (washing machines, dryers, refrigerators, stoves).
• Overseeing and enforcing facility safety.
• Assisting with apartment moves and heavy lifting.
• Assist and oversee Maintenance Engineer I.

T his position is responsible for performing facility maintenance by repairing, maintaining and improving buildings and structures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Routine and emergent maintenance of all Hilltop facilities.
• Maintenance support of all programs including electrical repair (moving sockets/switches and trouble shooting, HVAC troubleshooting to the component level, advanced plumbing repair and maintenance (to include soldering), painting, and advanced repair or replacement of drywall.
• Removing and replacing floor coverings.
• Refurbishing apartments.
• Read and interpret facility blue prints, produce shop drawings.
• Repairing appliances (i.e., washing machines, dryers, refrigerators, and stoves).
• Overseeing and enforces facility safety.
• Assisting with apartment moves and heavy lifting.
• Assisting and overseeing the work of Maintenance Engineer I.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Available for on call rotation.
