Job summary

Hilltop Community Resources in Western Colorado seeks a full-time Maintenance Technician to repair, maintain, and improve our facilities. You will perform routine and emergent maintenance, support programs with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drywall, painting, and appliance repairs, and help ensure safety and accessibility across our buildings.

The role requires a Colorado driver's license, a two-year college or four years of related experience, and the ability to lift and move equipment.

Qualifications

• Two years of college or four years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Colorado Driver's License (required).
• Certification related to maintenance (HVAC, Engineers License, etc.) (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Routine and emergent maintenance of all Hilltop facilities.
• Maintenance support of all programs including electrical repair, HVAC, plumbing, painting, and drywall repair or replacement.
• Removing and replacing floor coverings; refurbishing apartments.
• Read and interpret facility blueprints; produce shop drawings.
• Repairing appliances (washing machines, dryers, refrigerators, stoves).
• Overseeing and enforcing facility safety.
• Assisting with apartment moves and heavy lifting.
• On-call rotation participation.
• Must have reliable transportation.

This position is responsible for performing facility maintenance by repairing, maintaining and improving buildings and structures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Routine and emergent maintenance of all Hilltop facilities.
• Maintenance support of all programs including electrical repair (moving sockets/switches and trouble shooting, HVAC troubleshooting to the component level, advanced plumbing repair and maintenance (to include soldering), painting, and advanced repair or replacement of drywall.
• Removing and replacing floor coverings.
• Refurbishing apartments.
• Read and interpret facility blue prints, produce shop drawings.
• Repairing appliances (i.e., washing machines, dryers, refrigerators, and stoves).
• Overseeing and enforces facility safety.
• Assisting with apartment moves and heavy lifting.
• Assisting and overseeing the work of Maintenance Engineer I.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Available for on call rotation.
