Unico Properties LLC is seeking an entry‑level Maintenance Engineer to keep downtown Seattle properties operating efficiently. You will handle day‑to‑day repairs, assist tenants with maintenance needs, and perform light plumbing tasks while supporting sustainable, energy‑efficient building operations.

The role emphasizes hands‑on problem solving and delivering excellent service, with a focus on safety and reliability in a dynamic commercial environment.

About this Position

The Maintenance Engineer performs building repairs and maintenance tasks, including basic preventive maintenance to the building structure and systems, including light maintenance and plumbing repair. Promotes a culture and demonstrates market leadership that is committed to sustainability and strategic energy management.

SALARY: Starting at $25.00 - $27.00 hourly.

• Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions and to deal with problems involving a few variables
• Mathematics Ability: Ability to perform very basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing two digit numbers; to perform the basic arithmetic operations with money; to perform operations with units such as inch, foot, and yard / ounce and pound
• Language Ability: Ability to use passive vocabulary of 5,000-6,000 words; ability to read at a slow rate; ability to define unfamiliar words in dictionaries for meaning, spelling, and pronunciation
