Job summary

Kolter Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for Hyatt Place St Petersburg to maintain hotel facilities, perform preventative maintenance, and support guest comfort.

You will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, carpentry, and plumbing tasks, respond to service requests, and keep detailed maintenance records while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with mechanical, plumbing, carpentry and building maintenance preferred.
• Able to work weekends and holidays.
• Education: None

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain facility building and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance across mechanical, electrical, painting, carpentry and plumbing.
• Respond to elevator breakdowns.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Respond and resolve engineering service requests courteously and efficiently.
• Maintain engineering work area in an orderly and clean fashion.
• Ensure all tools/equipment are returned to the shop or stored properly.
• Assist in handling emergencies to protect guests and team members and preserve the building and its systems.
• Follow proper lost and found procedures for items left behind in a guest room.
• Report items in need of repair.
• Follow all safety procedures while working.

This position is responsible for hotel maintenance including preventative maintenance and equipment repairs.

Performance Expectations
