Castleview Hospital is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to perform preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment, systems and structures across the facility. This hands-on role requires collaboration with trades and an eye for safety.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with on-call coverage in the evenings and weekends on a rotating basis, plus occasional overtime for events. Comprehensive benefits accompany the position.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years institutional/commercial maintenance experience.
• Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and/or electronic systems.

• Performs major and minor maintenance work.
• Repairs fire safety equipment and systems as needed.
• Performs preventative maintenance on equipment and building systems.
• Moves items between locations and to storage.
• Assembles and relocates furniture.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

How You'll Contribute

The Maintenance Engineer performs preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment, systems and structures throughout the facility.

A Maintenance Engineer Who Excels In This Role

• Installs, tests, maintains, operates and repairs machinery, equipment, and systems as scheduled or needed.
• Performs major and minor maintenance work.
• Performs utility and structural repairs as needed, alone or in collaboration with internal/external tradespersons.
• Assists with inspection, testing, and maintenance of all fire risers, sprinklers, extinguishers, fire doors and other fire/safety-related equipment and systems.
• Performs preventative maintenance procedures on equipment, building systems, and utility systems as assigned.
• Moves items within/between locations and from/to storage.
• Assembles and relocates furniture.
• Performs other job duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Two years institutional/commercial maintenance experience required
• Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and/or electronic systems required

Schedule

M-F 8am- 4:30pm
On Call from 5:00 pm - 8:00 am every 3 weeks (call shifts won't start for at least a minimum of 6 months after being hired)
Occasional OT & Weekend work for events
