Job summary

Shriners Hospitals for Children in Philadelphia is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to oversee the safe, efficient operation of the hospitalts physical plant, equipment, and grounds. You will perform repairs, routine painting, plumbing, electrical work, and respond quickly to repair requests, while upholding hospital policies and safety practices.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED and at least 2 years of maintenance/engineering experience, with a strong emphasis on safety

Responsibilities

• Informs management of malfunctioning equipment.
• Visually inspects equipment to detect malfunctions or need for repairs.
• Maintains building by performing repairs and routine painting, plumbing, electrical work and related maintenance tasks.
• Adheres to hospital policies and procedures and safety measures.
• Responds promptly to repair requests and ensures work is completed safely.
