Job summary

Hyatt Centric Park City is hiring a Maintenance Engineer to keep our ski-in/ski-out hotel running smoothly for guests and colleagues.

You will perform general maintenance across guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas; support HVAC, plumbing, electrical, kitchen and pool systems; conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshoot building systems using the CMMS; respond to requests with a guest-first attitude and collaborate with fellow engineers and hotel departments.

Responsibilities

• Performing general maintenance and repairs throughout guest rooms, public spaces, restaurants, meeting areas, and heart-of-house operations.
• Assisting with the maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, kitchen, pool, mechanical, and other building systems.
• Performing preventive maintenance to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.
• Learning to troubleshoot building systems using our computerized maintenance management system.
• Responding to maintenance requests with professionalism and a guest-first attitude.
• Working closely with fellow engineers and other hotel departments to keep the hotel operating at its best.

What You'll Do

As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll help ensure every guest enjoys a safe, comfortable, and memorable stay by maintaining our beautiful mountain hotel.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing general maintenance and repairs throughout guest rooms, public spaces, restaurants, meeting areas, and heart-of-house operations.
• Assisting with the maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, kitchen, pool, mechanical, and other building systems.
• Performing preventive maintenance to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.

Learning to troubleshoot building systems using our computerized maintenance management system.

• Responding to maintenance requests with professionalism and a guest-first attitude.
• Working closely with fellow engineers and other hotel departments to keep the hotel operating at its best.

Schedule

• Full-time
• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Open availability, including weekends and holidays

Maintenance, facilities, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, construction, or hotel engineering experience is a plus—but not required. If you have mechanical aptitude, enjoy fixing things, and are excited to learn, we'll provide the training and support you need to succeed.
