Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park, Kansas, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our facilities team. The position operates Monday–Friday, 2:30 p.m.

to 11 p.m., under the Director of Plant Operations to maintain buildings, equipment, and systems across the facility. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, prefer technical school training, a Class A Operating Engineers license, and at least three years of healthcare maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical school courses preferred.
• Class A Operating Engineers License highly preferred.
• Minimum of three years experience, preferably in a health care environment.
• Experience using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and testing and metering equipment.

Responsabilités

• Operates and maintains buildings, equipment, and systems throughout the facility.
• Performs operating, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance tasks on boilers, chillers, electrical systems, HVAC, and more.
• Assists in project work including new equipment installation, relocation or modification, and minor construction.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:30p - 11p

Under the general supervision of the Director Plant Operations and guidelines set by policy and procedure:

• Operates and maintains buildings, equipment, and systems throughout the facility.
• Performs operating, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance tasks to equipment including but not limited to: Boilers, water chillers, electrical distribution systems, emergency power generators, HVAC, pumping systems, electrical motors and motor control, plumbing, refrigeration, water treatment, Fire Alarm and suppression, Pneumatic electronic control systems, and energy management systems.
• Assists in the completion of project work including new equipment installation, existing equipment relocation or modification, and minor construction and renovation work, and other duties as assigned.

What qualifications you will need:

• High School Diploma or GED required. Technical school courses in related fields preferred.
• Class "A" Operating Engineers License Highly Preferred
• A minimum of three years experience, preferably in a health care environment.
• Experience using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and testing and metering equipment required.
