Job summary

Menorah Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support patient care by maintaining and repairing facility systems. The role operates Monday through Friday with a 2:30p–11p shift and reports to the Director of Plant Operations.

You will perform preventive maintenance on boilers, chillers, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, and assist with equipment installation or renovation projects to keep the hospital running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical courses preferred.
• Class A Operating Engineers License highly preferred.
• Minimum of three years experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains buildings, equipment, and systems throughout the facility.
• Performs operating, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on boilers, chillers, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems.
• Assists in project work including new equipment installation and minor renovations.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:30p - 11p

Under the general supervision of the Director Plant Operations and guidelines set by policy and procedure:

• Operates and maintainsbuildings, equipment, and systems throughout the facility.
• Performs operating, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenancetasks to equipment including but not limited to: Boilers, water chillers, electrical distribution systems, emergency power generators,HVAC, pumping systems, electrical motors and motor control, plumbing, refrigeration, water treatment, Fire Alarm and suppression,Pneumatic\ electronic control systems, and energy management systems.
• Assists in the completion of project work including newequipment installation, existing equipment relocation or modification, and minor construction and renovation work, and other dutiesas assigned.

What qualifications you will need:

• High School Diploma or GED required. Technical school courses in related fields preferred.
• Class "A" Operating Engineers License Highly Preferred

• A minimum of three years experience, preferably in a health care environment.

• Experience using a variety of handtools, power tools, and testing and metering equipment required.
