Job summary

A leading biopharma manufacturer in New Jersey is seeking Facilities & Utilities Technicians to operate and maintain HVAC and boiler systems in a GMP environment. This full-time position offers stability and advancement opportunities within a new Engineering & Facilities team. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in maintenance, HVAC, or boiler operations, and a strong understanding of relevant mechanical systems.

Base pay range: $35.00/hr - $41.00/hr

Global Life Science Hub is partnered with a rapidly expanding biopharma manufacturer in New Jersey that’s scaling up its site following multiple recent FDA approvals.
As part of this major site expansion, we’re hiring Facilities, HVAC, and Boiler Technicians/Engineers to join the newly formed Engineering & Facilities team. These are full‑time, permanent positions offering the chance to support critical utilities and systems in a GMP manufacturing environment.

• HVAC Technicians / Engineers
• High‑Pressure Boiler Operators
• Facilities Maintenance Mechanics / Engineers

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot HVAC, boiler, and facility systems to ensure continuous support for GMP production.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on utilities and process equipment.
• Monitor cleanroom and environmental systems, ensuring all work meets safety and compliance standards.
• Support site expansion and reliability initiatives within a growing engineering department.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a maintenance, HVAC, boiler, or utilities technician/engineering role.
• Hands‑on experience within pharma/biotech.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, or HVAC systems.
• Willingness to work full‑time onsite at the New Jersey facility.
