Cambria Nashville Airport Hotel is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to assist with operation, maintenance and repair of hotel equipment, and to support preventative maintenance programs across guest rooms, public areas, and facilities.
The role requires flexibility, weekend availability, and may involve driving a shuttle and basic trades such as carpentry, painting, and plumbing. Candidates should have a high school diploma and a valid driver’s license, and be prepared for a varied schedule.
The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for assisting with the operation maintenance service and repair of equipment as assigned. He/she is also responsible for participating in the preventative maintenance program handling guest requests and other work orders as assigned. He/she is also responsible for performing the job in a safe and efficient manner and performing trade jobs such as carpentry, painting, plumbing etc. May require driving a shuttle van when needed (property specific).
This role splits time between Cambria Airport Hotel and Avid Hotel, Nashville. Weekend availability is REQUIRED.To perform the job successfully, the candidate must be able to stand and walk 90% of their workday. Lifting and carrying up to 65 lbs. may be necessary at times and bending and stooping are required. Job is performed indoors in a well ventilated area.
