POSITION PURPOSE

Responsible for all aspects of building maintenance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Responsible for all aspects of building maintenance including but not limited to: mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, air conditioning and heating, audio visual, plumbing, equipment checks, fire control system, swimming pool, lighting, and everything not covered by an outside maintenance company.
  • Respond to accident scenes and determine if there are maintenance issues that contributed to the accident.
  • Preventative maintenance on pumps, motors, air handlers, sump pumps, boilers, air compressors and other equipment.
  • Answer repair calls from other departments.
  • Complete parts requisitions when inventory for an item is low.
  • Set up and tear down special event areas (i.e. poker tournaments, dinners, slot tournaments).
  • Repair vacuums, carts and small kitchen equipment brought to engineering shop.
  • Respond to fire alarms and determine if there is an emergency that would require evacuating the building.
  • All other duties assigned by management.
