Base pay range

$95,000.00/yr - $107,000.00/yr

JOB DESCRIPTION

A client in the food and beverage space is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their plant to support all maintenance functions. These functions include predictive preventive maintenance (PPM), spare parts, scheduling and performance management over mechanics. Other day-to-day responsibilities include: - PM reviews & Root Cause analysis - Support the development, control and tracking of maintenance budgets - Coordinate with planning/scheduling, inventory control and maintenance purchasing teams for all repairs, products, work schedules and meetings - Administer the PPM program and parts room inventory for all equipment, building and facilities through the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) - Identify and analyze equipment failures and recommend solutions - Develop overall plans, including manpower, for major maintenance overhauls, shutdowns and projects

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or chemical)
• 3+ of recent experience working in a manufacturing environment (food and beverage preferred)
• Experience in a CMMS (SAP or Oracle matches up) for inventory planning and parts
• 3+ years of experience working with equipment vendors
• Willingness to be hands on or capability to make technical recommendations
