Job summary

Legacy Ventures is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to install, maintain, and repair machinery, electrical and plumbing systems in a Gatlinburg hotel/restaurant setting. The role ensures safety, reliability, and adherence to budget goals.

You will perform HVAC maintenance, service Life Safety Systems, and keep thorough maintenance records while supporting guest needs and housekeeping requests. This is a hands-on, on-site position focused on safe operations.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining hotel and restaurant facilities.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues by listening to equipment.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, and physical structures.
• Conduct HVAC maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain and repair Life Safety Systems and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Perform welding and installation of pipe systems; repair hydraulics/pneumatics.
• Maintain a daily maintenance log and document all work.
• Respond to maintenance requests from housekeeping and guests.
• Inspect emergency lighting, smoke detectors, and other safety equipment.

This role ensures the proper functioning of all systems, maintains a safe environment, and helps achieve budget goals.Key Responsibilities:Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, and physical structures, including electrical systems and plumbing.Conduct HVAC maintenance and repairs.Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on Life Safety Systems and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.Maintain and repair hotel aesthetics (painting, furniture maintenance, etc.).Maintain a Preventative Maintenance Program, ensuring quarterly inspections and proper documentation.Inspect and troubleshoot machinery, listening for unusual sounds to diagnose issues.Perform welding, installation of pipe systems, and repairs of hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.Respond to maintenance requests from housekeeping and guest requests.Perform regular checks of emergency lighting, smoke detectors, and other safety equipment.Maintain a daily maintenance log and ensure all work is documented.
