Job summary

Spring Hill Suites in Atlanta is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to install, maintain and repair machinery, electrical and plumbing systems, and building structures to ensure safe, high‑quality guest experiences.

Responsibilities include HVAC maintenance, life-safety system checks, welding and pipe work, emergency lighting and smoke detectors, logging work daily, and promptly addressing maintenance requests from housekeeping and guests to protect asset value.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, and physical structures, including electrical systems and plumbing.
• Conduct HVAC maintenance and repairs.
• Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on Life Safety Systems and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Maintain hotel aesthetics (painting, furniture maintenance, etc.).
• Maintain a Preventative Maintenance Program, ensuring quarterly inspections and proper documentation.
• Inspect and troubleshoot machinery, listening for unusual sounds to diagnose issues.
• Perform welding, installation of pipe systems, and repairs of hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.
• Respond to maintenance requests from housekeeping and guest requests.
• Perform regular checks of emergency lighting, smoke detectors, and other safety equipment.
• Maintain a daily maintenance log and ensure all work is documented.
