Kolter Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Engineer at Delray Beach to ensure smooth hotel operations and guest comfort. You will oversee preventative maintenance, handle mechanical, electrical, painting, carpentry and plumbing tasks, and keep accurate records of work performed.

The role requires responding to outages, repairing equipment, maintaining a clean work area, and following safety protocols while supporting guests and team members in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain facility building and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance across mechanical, electrical, painting, carpentry and plumbing.
• Respond to elevator breakdowns.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Respond and resolve engineering service requests courteously and efficiently.
• Maintain engineering work area in a clean and orderly fashion.
• Ensure tools/equipment are returned to storage after use.
• Assist in emergencies to protect guests and staff.
• Follow proper lost and found procedures for items left in guest rooms.
• Report items in need of repair and safety hazards.

Overview

A Kolter Hospitality Maintenance Engineer delivers service excellence and facilitates a positive guest experience while maintaining the overall operation of the maintenance department. This position is responsible for hotel maintenance including preventative maintenance and equipment repairs.

Performance Expectations

• Repair and maintain facility building and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance throughout the property such as mechanical, electrical, painting, carpentry and plumbing.
• Respond to elevator breakdowns.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Respond and resolve engineering service requests in courteous, efficient manner.
• Maintain engineering work area in an orderly and clean fashion.
• Ensure all tools/equipment used are returned to the shop and/or secured in proper storage area.
• Assist in handling emergencies in order to protect our guests and team members and preserve the building and its systems during the emergency.
• Follow proper lost and found procedures for items left behind in a guest room.
• Report any items in need of repair.
• Follow all safety procedures while working.

• Occasional lifting, pushing and pulling
