Qualifications

• Ability to provide information and associated services to hotel management and guests.

Responsibilities

• Execute any and all required repair and maintenance at the hotel, including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, air-conditioning, painting, general building maintenance and related activities (75%).
• Execute manual engineering tasks when on duty as needed and as per tickets or guest-related impact items (20%).
• Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned, participate in task forces and committees as requested (5%).

This is an exciting opening for a Maintenance Engineer. Come join our award-winning 94-room Hampton Inn & Suites in Deland, Florida. This is a "hands-on" position requiring the Maintenance Engineer to work to maintain and make repairs at the facility.

BASIC PURPOSE : Develop, implement and manage emergency programs, programs for the operations & maintenance of all equipment and physical structures and landscaping in compliance with corporate/franchise standards, local, state & national codes and regulations to protect the assets, guests and employees, to ensure optimum operations, minimize expenses and maximize customer satisfaction. We are looking for an energetic self-starter.

Essential Functions

• Execute any and all required repair and maintenance at the hotel. This includes, but is not limited to, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, air-conditioning, painting, general building maintenance and other related activities (75%)
• Execute manual engineering tasks when on duty as needed and as per tickets or guest related impact items. (20%)

Knowledge And Skills
