You will work closely with operations, production, and other engineering team members to perform preventive and corrective maintenance, implement improvements, and support continuous operation of our assets. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable working with both mechanical and electrical systems in an industrial or commercial environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and facility systems according to established schedules and standards.
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures, diagnose root causes, and implement timely repairs to minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Inspect, test, and calibrate equipment and systems to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operation.
  • Document all maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and time spent, using the company’s maintenance management system.
  • Collaborate with production, operations, and engineering teams to prioritize maintenance tasks and support daily operational needs.

  • Solid working knowledge of mechanical systems (e.g., pumps, conveyors, bearings, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics).
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of electrical systems and controls, including safe work practices around electrical equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation such as equipment manuals, schematics, drawings, and work orders.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and common diagnostic instruments used in maintenance and repair work.

  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety, including adherence to lockout/tagout and other safety procedures.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to use maintenance management systems or digital work order tools.
  • Physical ability to perform the demands of the role, including standing for extended periods, climbing ladders, lifting moderate weights, and working in various environmental conditions.
  • Flexibility to work an hourly, full-time schedule, which may include shifts, overtime, weekends, or on-call coverage as required by operations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training, apprenticeship, or certification in a relevant trade or engineering discipline is a plus.
