Maintenance Engineer

SkyWater is partnering with a client in the North metro to find a Maintenance Engineer for their growing team! Our client is a global manufacturer with over 100 years of operation. The Maintenance Engineer will ensure the optimal performance, reliability, and safety of plant machinery and equipment. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime and meet production goals. We seek a degreed engineer with at least 2 years of experience in a maintenance engineering role or similar. Responsibilities

1. Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
2. Troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize production downtime.
3. Collaborate with engineering and production teams on equipment upgrades, installations, and improvements.
4. Maintain accurate maintenance records in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
5. Recommend and implement improvements to enhance equipment reliability.
6. Perform other duties or projects as assigned.

Desired Skills and Experience

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. 2+ years of experience in maintenance engineering or a similar role.
3. Familiarity with CMMS software.
4. Experience with lean manufacturing principles is preferred.
