Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of direct experience in commercial property maintenance and operations.
• Knowledge of facility maintenance and repairs including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, carpentry, locksmith, painting, and other general repairs.
• Strong tenant relations and effective communication skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to work without constant supervision.
• High School Diploma or GED; associate's degree or trade school experience preferred.
• Additional professional certifications are a plus.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Must pass pre-hire drug and background screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform completion of work orders and maintenance requests, emergency repairs & response calls, and preventative maintenance.
• Inspect the properties regularly and ensure all building systems (elevator, HVAC, fire, plumbing, electrical, etc.) are working properly and well maintained.
• Inspect and oversee any maintenance or repairs done by third-party vendors to ensure the work meets the scope of work.
• Responds quickly to emergency situations including afterhours emergency calls.
• Perform other duties as needed as determined by Property Manager.

Job Summary

Perform preventive maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment, and grounds on a commercial building portfolio throughout the Austin & Central Texas area.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED, preferably associate's degree or other trade school experience
• Additional professional certifications are a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of direct work experience in commercial property maintenance and operations.
• Must be a professional, dependable, flexible, & accountable individual with effective communication skills, positive attitude, & excels at Tenant relations.
• Must be motivated, takes initiative to complete tasks without constant direct supervision.
• Must have knowledge of facility maintenance & repairs including but not limited to, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, carpentry, locksmith, painting, & other general repairs
• Must have reliable transportation & good driving record
• Must be able to pass pre-hire drug & background screening
