Job summary

Materion is seeking a Maintenance Electrician Technician to uphold safety and keep electrical systems in top condition. You will install, troubleshoot, and repair power and control systems, and participate in upgrades and documentation changes.

The role requires five years of electrical experience, two years in controls, PLC literacy, and automation knowledge. A high school or vocational degree is expected, with a strong commitment to safety and quality.

  • Follows prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintains high quality standards.

The Maintenance Electrician Technician a vigorous safety orientation and application of advanced electrical/electronic skills. It includes a variety of objectives such as keeping electrical equipment and control instruments in good repair and safe operating condition; installing and maintaining complex electrical equipment; setting up, adjusting, and maintaining process control equipment; and developing and designing electrical and electronic circuits, diagrams, and schematics for existing equipment upgrades and modifications.

You will have the opportunity to:
