ASRC Federal Facilities Logistics, LLC, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to support our Prime NASA program at Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD. Under the direction of the Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for daily operation and electrical maintenance of buildings, including preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.

Minimum four years in the electrical field, U.S.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Ability to work with minimal direct supervision.
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle potentially highly stressful situations.
• Ability to create and maintain a positive team atmosphere with effective interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot various electrical systems.
• Installation and maintenance of electrical components.
• Attend safety training classes & certifications.
• Responds to emergencies.
• Monitors UPS Battery Alber System.
• Assists with outages as needed.
• Provides building escorts as needed.
• Switches UPS, ATS, & LOAD CENTERS as needed.
• Schedules replacement of lights as necessary.
• Responds to smoke alarms.
• Maintains Log.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

SUMMARY / GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF JOB:

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience and Professional Associations/Licenses):

Minimum

• Four (4) years’ experience in electrical field
• High school graduate or equivalent
• U.S. Citizenship.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Preferred

• Experience with Maximo or similar computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
