Responsibilities

• General maintenance on pumps, cranes, hoists, hydraulic systems, and steam generators (electrical-focused).
• Repair, replace, adjust, inspect, troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance.
• Operate conventional power tools.
• Layout jobs per NEC and ensure code compliance.
• Install new equipment; drive forklift and aerial lifts.
• Use electrical meters as required for each job.
• Work with PLCs and frequency inverters.

Maintenance Electrician Sr

Repairs and maintains electrical and mechanical equipment such as pumps, motors, power tools, production machines, building/facility, as well as preventative maintenance and emergency response by performing the following duties with minimal supervision. Ability to train lower level electricians and trainees/general helpers. Provides basic hand tools.

Job Summary

• General maintenance on various equipment such as pumps, cranes, hoist, hydraulic systems, and steam generators. This includes general maintenance in addition to electrical maintenance.
• Make repairs, replacements, adjustments, inspections, troubleshoot, and preventative maintenance on all equipment
• Operate all types of conventional power tools
• Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments
• Install new equipment
• Drive forklift, aerial boom lifts, scissors lifts
• Repair electrical equipment, run conduit
• Layout jobs in compliance with NEC
• Use various electrical meters as required per specific job
• Knowledge of PLC systems and frequency inverters

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Knowledge of PLC systems and frequency inverters.
• Simple plumbing knowledge is a must.
• Ability to perform some welding and soldering.
• Familiar with National Electrical Code.
• Good electrical and mechanical skills to perform the needed repairs and installations.
• Good understanding of the NEC with respect to Industrial Applications and knowledge of how to apply to keep the facility within code requirements.
• Good working knowledge of various control systems on equipment and HVAC Systems.
• Critical thinking skills and good decision‑making thought processes.
• Ability to effectively communicate among all levels within the organization.

Required Experience and Education

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• 5+ years of experience in related field and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience

Base Compensation: USD 30.00 - 40.00 Paid Hourly
