Job summary

Vylor, Inc. (on-site at Corteva in St. Joseph, IL) seeks a Journeyman Electrician to operate and maintain electrical/controls equipment across process facilities. The role requires NEC interpretation skills, SAP experience, and PLC familiarity, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

You will perform repairs, inspections, and support the safety program while adhering to environmental and safety regulations. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required as production demands rise.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrical experience required.
• Ability to interpret NEC.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive company vehicle.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and computer applications.
• Willing to work outdoors/indoors in varying conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work overtime and shifts including weekends/holidays.
• Able to maintain detailed equipment records.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain plant equipment including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control devices.
• Perform electrical repairs, service, troubleshooting, and inspections per procedures.
• Support electrical safety program and comply with OSHA, PSM, and safety policies.
• Recommend improvements to electrical systems and add new devices/hardware.
• Other duties as assigned.
