Job summary

Vylor Inc. is seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to operate and repair electrical, mechanical, and control systems for our Corteva site in Illinois.

You will conduct inspections, support safety programs, and ensure compliance with OSHA/PSM guidelines while maintaining equipment records and working with SAP/PLC systems. Ideal candidates bring NEC proficiency, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work overtime during seasonal peaks.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician experience required.
• Ability to interpret NEC codes.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Computer aptitude including MS Office; learn company apps.
• Must follow safety policies and procedures.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving.
• Maintain detailed equipment records and prints.
• Willing to work overtime/shift hours, including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain company electrical, mechanical, instrumentation and control equipment for process and facility.
• Perform electrical repairs, service, troubleshooting, and scheduled inspections.
• Support electrical safety program and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Adhere to quality systems, safety procedures and environmental/PSM guidelines.
• Recommend improvements to electrical programs and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
