Vylor, Inc. at the Corteva site in Illinois seeks a skilled Journeyman Electrician to maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, ensuring safe, efficient operation of production equipment.

The role requires NEC interpretation, experience with PLCs and SAP, and the ability to work overtime or weekends during peak production. You will support safety programs, document equipment records, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize uptime.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician with NEC knowledge and safety focus.
• Ability to interpret NEC codes and electrical standards.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicle.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to work overtime and on weekends during peak production.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain electrical equipment for process and facility.
• Perform electrical repairs, service, troubleshooting, and inspections.
• Support electrical safety program and regulatory compliance (OSHA, PSM).
• Propose improvements to electrical programs and equipment.
• Maintain detailed equipment records and prints.
