Job summary

Remington Arms is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to support manufacturing and facilities by fabricating, installing, troubleshooting and repairing electrical and electronic systems. You will perform inspections and preventative maintenance and complete economical repairs using available parts and tools.

You will read blueprints and CAD/CAM drawings, follow safety rules, document process records, and participate in shift rotations including days and nights to keep production flowing.

Qualifications

• Experience fabricating, installing, troubleshooting and repairing electrical/electronic devices.
• Ability to read blueprints and CAD/CAM drawings.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance.
• Commitment to safety and proper process documentation.

Responsibilities

• Fabricates, installs, troubleshoots, modifies and repairs electrical/electronic systems and components.
• Performs preventative maintenance inspections and testing of plant equipment and electrical power distribution systems.
• Works from blueprints, CAD/CAM drawings, sketches and verbal instructions.
• Maintains accurate process records and keeps work area clean and orderly.
• Adheres to plant, department and area rules and regulations and promotes safety among teammates.

Job description

Job Description The Maintenance Electrician supports manufacturing and facilities personnel by using skills and abilities to fabricate, install, modify, troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of electrical and electronic items and components. Performs inspections and preventative maintenance as required in a timely manner and performs economically feasible repairs to the greatest extent possible with stocked or purchased parts and available tools.

Pay Range: Hourly Rate: $29.33 - $32.74 The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.

Shift Information

• Dayshift (4 shift days): 4:30 AM to 4:45 PM
• Nightshift (4 shift nights): 4:30 PM to 4:45 AM
• Mon-Fri: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
• Mon-Fri 2:45 PM to 1:00 AM

The Maintenance Electrician

• Works in a safe and orderly manner at all times.
• Obeys plant, department and area rules and regulations and proactively encourages other team members to do so.
• Obtains, maintains and wears or uses all necessary safety equipment as directed by work instructions or area supervisor.
• Attends shift, department and plant meetings in a timely manner as directed by supervisor.
• Fabricates, installs, troubleshoots, modifies and repairs systems, equipment & components including, but not limited to, electrical, electronic and electro-mechanical devices to the component level if economically feasible.
• Performs preventative maintenance inspections and testing of various plant equipment, electronic instrumentation and electrical power distribution equipment.
• Works from blueprints, CAD/CAM drawings, sketches, models and verbal instructions.
• Maintains process integrity with proper documentation and observance of process records Maintains a clean and orderly work area at all times.
