Job summary

Chase Doors in Oregon is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair production equipment and facility systems. You will work with electrical controls, wiring diagrams, and codebooks, performing repairs with minimal supervision.

You will gain training in parts ordering and equipment operation, while ensuring documentation and data recording standards are met for internal customers and processes.

Qualifications

• Excellent PC, oral and written communication skills are required.
• Must be able to use Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, timeliness, and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple functions simultaneously and prioritize for internal/external customers.
• Knowledge of products, equipment and processes, with ability to perform all department jobs.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, maintain and repair electronic controls and equipment on machine tools and welding equipment.
• Diagnose and remedy electrical problems on electrical apparatus including motors and generators.
• Follow oral and written instructions, wiring diagrams and codebooks.
• Generate and complete work orders.
• Training in parts ordering and equipment operation procedures will be provided.
