Job Overview

As an Electrician Level 1, you will handle plans layout, installs, and repairs wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment by performing the following duties.

Work Schedule:

2:30 PM - 11:00 PM - Monday - Friday (Overtime when needed)

Major Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain and repair production equipment and factory support systems.
• Check and repair all plant wiring safely.
• Electrically troubleshoot and repair plant equipment.
• Layout and install electrical wiring per N.E.C. and local codes.
• Perform light mechanical repairs to pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Exhibit safe work practices.
• Be flexible to work overtime.
• Maintain specific quality standards.
• Assist in training others in electrical related functions.
• Maintain high levels of productivity.
• Ensure all work is neat and workmanship-like.
• Work effectively in a team environment and maintain regular attendance.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 4 - 6 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Lockout/Tagout Experience
• Powered Equipment Experience
• Passing score on Electrical Evaluation Test
• Good Safety Record

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The employee is regularly required to stand on concrete floors, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance. The work environment may expose the employee to outside weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, high places, vibration, and noise levels ranging from moderate to loud.
