Alliant Energy in Wisconsin seeks a Journeyman Electrician to perform electrical, basic mechanical, and control maintenance at the generation facility and high voltage substation in Sheboygan. You will troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and document activities to ensure safe, reliable plant operations.

Requires an apprenticeship completion and journeyman electrical trade; strong blueprint reading and teamwork within a safety-focused environment.

• High school diploma or GED required; journeyman level in electrical trade with an approved apprenticeship.
• Able to read blueprints, diagrams, drawings and specifications.
• Familiar with steam plant cycles, strong mechanical/electrical aptitude.

Responsabilidades

• Perform electrical and basic mechanical troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, cleaning and inspection at generation facility.
• Maintain electrical equipment at generating station and high voltage substation.
• Install and calibrate plant control systems; document testing and results.
• Gathers data from equipment diagnostics and supports safety and reliability improvements.
• Operate tools and participate in continuous improvement activities.
