Job summary

HHS GOVERNMENT SERVICES LLC in Fort Jackson, SC is seeking an Electrician, Maintenance to perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and electronic equipment at a Government facility.

You will read schematics, diagnose issues, and work with generators, switchgear, and control systems; you may perform fire alarm and call system testing and maintain safety. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalency required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience associated with commercial facilities.
Electrician license preferred.
Must be able to read schematics, blueprints, and shop drawings.
Ability to troubleshoot systems using electronics, computers, and software systems.

Responsibilities

Performs repair, overhaul, maintenance, and servicing of commercial and industrial electrical/electronic systems, locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical system or equipment.
Tests, installs, repairs, and maintains equipment such as generators, ATS, UPS, transformers, switchboards, controllers, door operators, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, IR scans, and other transmission equipment.
Performs fire alarm system and/or call system testing and maintenance.
Maintains the general cleanliness and appearance of assigned spaces and the workshop.
Assists maintenance teams and identifies and resolves failures/alarms related to critical building equipment.
Performs other duties as assigned.
