+ We have an opening for a full-time MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN position.

+ Location: L'Oreal - 30 Terminal Avenue, Clark, NJ 07066. Note: online applications accepted only.

+ Pay Range: $35.00 to $45.00 per hour.

Job Summary:

Operates and maintains equipment, guided by knowledge of building trades, carpentry, painting, minor electrical, plumbing, mechanical repairs, and use of tools and supplies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
2. Responds to dispatch calls for machine repairs using company vehicle.
3. Contacts existing customers to ensure service quality and resolve complaints.
4. Inspects and diagnoses machine malfunctions; dismantles machines to access problems.
5. Maintains, repairs, operates, and renovates plant and facilities.
6. Inspects parts for wear or issues; replaces worn parts; tests machine operation after repairs.
7. Reads blueprints, determines materials, estimates costs, and requests supplies.
8. Installs, tests, and repairs electrical fixtures, circuits, and systems.
9. Diagnoses electrical issues; recommends solutions to keep equipment operational.
10. Recommends electrical power sources for installations or renovations.
11. Works on power lines, transformers, switch gears, etc., up to 480 volts.
12. Performs corrective maintenance per work orders.
13. Installs and repairs high and low-voltage electrical equipment.
14. Maintains a safe work environment and performs duties safely.
15. Displays professionalism with customers and colleagues.
16. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Valid Non-CDL Class C driver’s license.
• Valid state/local electrical license.
• Two years of trade school or related experience.
• Two years of electrician experience in similar institutions.
• Knowledge of local, state, and NEC codes.
