Job summary

Global Advanced Metals Pty Ltd is seeking an Electrical Technician to provide electrical and instrumentation maintenance across the plant. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating equipment, and potentially installing upgrades while complying with SH&E rules and site procedures.

The position requires reading SOPs, teamwork, and a strong safety mindset. Experience with 2400V/3-phase systems preferred; on-site work with weekend on-call responsibilities is included.

Qualifications

• Must troubleshoot and calibrate electrical/instrumentation systems.
• Experience reading and following SOPs/work instructions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for cross-functional environment.
• Willingness to pursue Journeyworker status within 4 years if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical/instrumentation maintenance and calibration.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment; install/upgrade equipment as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety, SH&E policies and regulatory codes.
• Train co-workers and participate in CIP and safety teams.
