Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group in Monroe, NC is seeking a Maintenance Electrician for a first shift in a fast‑paced manufacturing facility producing door closers and related controls. You will diagnose equipment malfunctions, repair CNC systems, and perform preventive maintenance to keep production running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience with AC/DC drives, PLC troubleshooting, electrical schematics and machine prints, plus the ability to read micrometers and calipers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a maintenance electrician in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of AC/DC drives, VFDs, PLC troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and machine prints.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends; electrical license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and repair.
• Troubleshoot CNC systems.
• Improve skills and support continuous improvement.
• Work according to electrical codes.
• Follow safety regulations and 5S housekeeping.
• Follow ISO procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
