Job summary

Vylor Inc. is hiring a Journeyman Electrician to operate and maintain electrical systems at the Corteva location in St. Joseph, Illinois. You will perform repairs, troubleshooting, and inspections while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

The role supports production uptime, requires lifting up to 50 lbs, and offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible hires. On-site work with potential for overtime during seasonal peaks.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrical license and NEC knowledge required.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical prints and records.
• Ability to operate a company vehicle if needed.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to work overtime and shift hours including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control devices for process and facility.
• Perform electrical repairs, troubleshooting and inspections.
• Review safety programs to ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, PSM and Corteva policies.
• Recommend safety and process improvements, including new devices or hardware.
• Other duties as assigned.
