Ultipro in Indiana is seeking an Industrial Electrician/Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair motors, control boxes, starters, and PLCs in a food production environment. You will perform electrical troubleshooting, wiring, and preventive maintenance, with emphasis on safety procedures and timely issue resolution.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 3 years of industrial electrical experience, PLC basics, and strong teamwork and communication skills.

To maintain all electric motors, control boxes, starters and PLC’s operation of all electric equipment and repair.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintenance and repair of motors
• Maintenance on control boxes
• Maintenance on starters
• Run of conduit and wiring
• Replacement of parts as needed
• Installing and removal of machinery
• Know emergency procedures when lights go out in plant
• Procedures for lockout/tag out

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma, General Educational Development Diploma (GED) or equivalent experience
• Strong background in electrical
• 3 years’ experience as an electrician in an industrial environment desired
