Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform electrical preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on all Williamsport equipment and electrical systems.
• Install and commission new equipment, making modifications as necessary to meet operational needs.
• Work safely during maintenance and repair activities, ensuring system reliability and safety.
• Participate in safety and plant performance improvement initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Thorough knowledge of electrical disciplines across a broad range of subjects.
• Competence in electrical safety, AC & DC circuits, motors, grounding, electronics, power systems, motor drives, PLCs, HMIs, and NEC/NFPA 70E standards.
• Understanding of electrical construction principles and basic PC functions.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Industrial Electrical or Electronics; 1-2 years of industrial electrician experience preferred, including PLC experience.
• Solid work history and willingness to participate in safety, quality, and productivity initiatives.
• Must pass the NOCTI Electrical Examination.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Ability to stand for long periods and work in hot or cold conditions.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, reach, grip, and bend as per pre-employment screening requirements.
