Job Purpose

To perform routine preventative electrical maintenance functions and assist higher level positions as an electrician in our Watkins, MN facility. This facility produces LP FlameBlock, an OSB product with a coating to help with flame spread in residential, commercial, and other applications.

Hourly wage range: $31.00 to $38.00 DOQ. Full benefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, Tuition Assistance, Health Savings Account, Pet Insurance, Legal Plan, Paid Holidays, 401K & Profit Sharing with up to 5% company match.

Schedule: Day shift available to support manufacturing operations, with overtime possible on both shifts. Production hours are 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Monday-Thursday, and 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Fridays.

In this position you will have the opportunity to:

• Perform routine preventative electrical maintenance.
• Assist higher level electricians.
• Start PLC training programs.
• Learn and train on electrical maintenance functions.
• Perform other duties as needed.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations.

• Basic electrical knowledge.

Education:

• Vocational degree preferred, with an electrical focus.

Experience:

• 2+ years of electrical experience in manufacturing.
• Or equivalent education and experience demonstrating key responsibilities.

Work Environment

• Exposure to moving parts, fumes, chemicals, airborne particles, and high temperatures.
• Must be able to climb, bend, stoop, kneel, work outdoors, and tolerate noise.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
