Job summary

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking for an LME for an industrial client in Salem, Oregon. The role includes wiring, testing, and maintaining electrical systems on site, with graveyard shifts (8, 10, and 12 hours) available based on hiring needs.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years in Industrial Maintenance, and knowledge of electrical schematics. A current electrician's license or ID may be required by regulations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED Certification required.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in Industrial Maintenance required.
• Must possess knowledge of electrical schematics, charging systems, stationary and mobile equipment.
• Candidates must be able to maintain current electrician's license or identification card to meet governmental or state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain wiring, equipment, appliances, fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes for safety and compatibility.
• Plan layout and installation of wiring, equipment and fixtures according to job specifications and local codes.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking for an LME for our industrial client who is located in Salem, Oregon.

DETAILS

• Graveyard Shift: 8, 10 and 12 hour shifts (TBD upon hiring)

• Wage: $44.16/hr to start

Licensed LME Responsibilities:

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.

• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.

• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.

• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
