Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a maintenance electrician to provide comprehensive electrical maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and operational support for facility infrastructure and building systems at our Rochester campus. You will ensure safe, reliable operation of electrical distribution equipment, emergency power systems and other critical assets.

Qualified candidates typically hold an Associate or 2-year technical degree and related experience; military experience counts toward education.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or a two-year degree from a technical college related to a Building Infrastructure System maintenance program or completion of a one-year trade‑specific program.
• Four years of military experience in a related field will be considered in lieu of the educational experience requirements.
• Experience working with Computers and various building control systems.
• Electrical license helpful. Registered Unlicensed Electrician card is required or achievable within 6 months.
