Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, is seeking a skilled engineer to maintain and repair instruments in the SMH Power Plant and related facilities. The role includes operating and troubleshooting steam and combustion turbines, boilers, and generators, with on-call shift relief as needed.

This position requires a First Class Grade A Stationary Engineer License, plus high school education with vocational training and several years of plant operation experience.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent with two years vocational training in high pressure boilers, turbine generators, and building utilities.
• Three years’ experience of plant operation and maintenance on steam and turbines, diesel engines, boilers, generators, electrical and auxiliary equipment.
• First Class Grade A Stationary Engineer License and registration as an electrical worker.
