Job summary

Crescent Brands is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our Wheeling, IL manufacturing team. The role focuses on installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment across our facilities.

You will diagnose electrical issues, read blueprints, and ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes while performing preventative maintenance on machinery and facilities. The position requires at least 5 years of industrial electrical experience, the ability to work

• Repair mechanical, pneumatic and electrical components using standard hand tools, gauges and procedures.
• Installation and inspection of electrical conduit, raceway and busbar systems, per electrical codes.

Responsibilities:

• . Adjust parameters in machines, VFDs, and servos using built in faceplate/HMI interface
• . Troubleshoot and adjust PLC programable Logic control programs AC/DC drives systems and various of computer operated control circuitry (Siemens and Allen Bradley)
• . Mechanically/Electrically tune and troubleshoot equipment for proper operation
• . Carry out all repairs in a timely manner promptly to reduce downtime
• . Perform various activities relative to the installation and relocation of existing machines and equipment, which may involve electrical wiring
• . Must have at least 5 years' experience in industrial electrical work
• . Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• . Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards
• . Valid driving license
• . Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• . Other duties as assigned
